Burial of Ntege, Wife Cindy And Their Two Children Underway in Mukono

The burial arrangements for the four of the nine family members that perished in the Masaka-Mbarara highway accident that occurred last Friday is underway at their ancestral home in Mukono.

The deceased include; Christopher Ntege Ssenoga, his wife, Cindy Butesi, their children, Jayden Alvin Nsibambi Ntege and Giana Florence Nabakka Ntege. Ntege has been a resident of Kyaliwajjala on Mbalwa road in Kira Municipality.

The accident is said to have happened at Kyoja trading Centre in Kinoni sub-county, Lwengo district along Masaka-Mbarara highway.

Today’s afternoon, the Bishop of Mukono diocese, Enos Kitto Kagodo led a requiem service at St James Ggwafu City Parish Church of Uganda in Seeta Archdeaconry.

The four graves for Ntege, his wife Cindy and their children which are under construction.

The burial of Ntege who has been a staff of Uganda Breweries Limited together with his family members is currently happening at Namayiba village in Nakisunga sub-county in Mukono district.

Faridah Nampiima, the Traffic Police Spokesperson said that the accident involved a head on collusion of vehicles, Alphard registration number UBL 314C and a fuel truck registration number SSD 327S/SSD 137Q.

Nampiima said that the Alphad car was traveling from Kampala heading to Mbarara side whereas the fuel truck was from Mbarara/Kinoni town heading to Kampala side.

Mercy Nakaweesa, her husband Francis Bbaale who was a staff of National Water and Sewerage Corporation and their two children who were traveling in the Alphard car were among the deceased.

The driver of the fuel truck and his turn man, sustained severe injuries and they were rushed to Masaka referral hospital for medical attention.
