Anxiety looms in Busoga Kingdom as the Kyabazinga, William Wilberforce Kadhumbula Gabula Nadiope IV is set to unveil his long awaited Queen to his subjects.
Sources privy to this information informed Kyaggwe TV that today 7th September 2023, the Kingdom officials led by the outspoken Katuukiro Dr. Joseph Muvawala Nsekere will announce to the Basoga who the Inhebantu would be.
This comes after nine years since Kyabazinga Gabula IV was enthroned to the Kyabazingaship with only five days remaining to his Coronation anniversary that is set for next week on 13th September at Namungalwe Town Council Grounds in Kigulu County Iganga District.
Sources haven’t revealed who the lucky woman set to take over the Kyabanzinga is. However, it should be remembered that former Miss Uganga, Quiin Abenakyo was some time back highly regarded to be the Queen for Busoga Kingdom.
The 35-year-old King is one of the two Kings who got enthroned to Kingship at an early age of 26 years following the Omukama of Tooro, Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV who assented to the throne at the age of three and half years after the death of his Father Patrick David Kaboyo Olimi III.
