The residents of Kizito Zone in Luweero Town Council have been gripped with fear following the murder of a senior UPDF officer by his own wife.

The Savanna Region Police spokesperson, Sam Twineamazima has identified the deceased as Sgt. Cosmas Oriema (47) and the suspect as Catherine Asaba (30).

It is alleged that the couple got misunderstandings from the plot of land and the house which they had just entered. The residents have alleged that the couple have been engaging into fights on a daily basis. Sgt. Oriema has been working from Makenke barracks in Mbarara district.
