The Busoga royal wedding is slated for Saturday 18th, November, 2023 at Christ’s Cathedral Bugembe, Jinja City.

In her remarks, Rt. Hon. Kadaga urged all the Basoga, well-wishers and friends of Busoga at large to contribute to the royal wedding through cash donations and make it a magnificent royal wedding in the history of Busoga and Uganda.

Kadaga asked the committee to be careful with people they will approach to contribute towards the royal wedding adding that each one they request money from must be discreet.

She said MTN mobile money code: 707070 in names of Kyabazinga of Busoga and Airtel Money merchant ID: 4360000 in names of ObwaKyabazinga Bwa Busoga were established to make it convenient to all those making contributions towards the Royal wedding and encouraged people to contribute generously.

Kadaga said temptations to hoodwink people into collecting cash money by unscrupulous individuals will happen and therefore requested radios in Busoga and other media channels to popularize the Momo and Airtel codes above to the public.

She further said that it was now 30 years since a Royal wedding was conducted in Uganda by the Kabaka of Buganda in 1993 and it is now time for Busoga to show the world how it is going to do it.
