Supporters of National Unity Platform (NUP) are saddened by untimely death of party Vice President’s son in a motor crash.
The party Secretary General, David Lewis Lubongoya has identified the deceased as Aaron Amani, the son to Dr. Lina Zedriga, the party’s vice president in charge of Northern Uganda.
Through his X handle, Lubongoya has said that Amani was involved in a road accident last Friday in Gayaza.
The deceased is reported to have gone into coma and admitted in ICU and passed on today’s evening.
By press time, the burial arrangements had not been yet communicated.
“Very saddened by the untimely passing of Mr. Aaron Amani, son to mama Lina Zedriga, the @NUP_Ug Deputy President for Northern Uganda. Aaron was involved in a traffic accident last Friday in Gayaza, went into a coma and passed on this evening. May his soul rest in peace. Burial arrangements will be announced in due course,” reads Lubongoya’s message.
