On Saturday, the Former State Minister for Water, Ronald Kibuule revealed giving his life to Jesus Christ, whom he accepted as a personal savior.

Kibuule, who is the former Member of Parliament for Mukono North Constituency graced a gospel crusade where he was invited as a guest by the host and also the Senior Pastor of Land Life Church, Kabembe, Hellen Ahimbisibwe.

Although Kibuule continued fellowshipping with the Church of Uganda, he revealed that he confessed peace of mind ever since he accepted Jesus.

At the crusade which congregated hundreds of people, Kibuule asked them never to feel shy for the gospel of Christ, to repent their sins, and to live a transparent life.

Pastor Yasin Sseguya acknowledged learning about Kibuule’s repentance and has closely monitored his spiritual life despite fellowshipping under the CoU.

Pr. Sseguya praying for the rest of the believers who took Jesus as their personal savior at the crusade.

Sseguya stressed that it is important for people to accept Jesus to restore their relationship with God which has been broken by sin.

“Regardless of being a politician, name any other professional, Jesus remains the way, the truth, and the life. He is the only way to achieve salvation,” Sseguya noted.

At the end of the preaching, eight people accepted Jesus as their savior. Pastor Sseguya and Ahimbisibwe led them through the confession process before praying for them.
