Police have arrested the former Rubaga Division Resident City Commissioner (RCC) Burora Anderson on charges yet to be revealed.
On Monday evening around 8:00pm, Burora through his X handle posted a tweet reporting unknown men who had besieged him at his home and claimed that they wanted to go with him.
“My home has been besieged by unknown men who claim that I should go with them,” the tweet read.
Without further information on the same account, eleven hours later, Kyaggwe TV has learnt that Burora was arrested and he is currently under detention at Kira Road Police Station.
Burora lost his RCC job when he started attacking the Speaker of Parliament, Annet Anita Among over a number of things, being corrupt and shielding corruption in Parliament inclusive. By press time, Police had not yet come out to give details of his arrest.
