Police in Kawempe have arrested seven staff members of Okatho Inn Guest House in connection to the murder of a 25-year-old woman inside one of the guest house rooms.
Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson, Patrick Onyango has identified the deceased as Ester Nakaggwa who was stabbed to death by yet to be identified people.
Onyango told this publication that the body of Nakaggwa was found in a pool of blood in Room 4 of Okatho Inn Guest House. Police said near the deceased’s body, there was a number of used condoms, a cup and plate all filled with blood, among other things which have been collected and taken as exhibits.
Onyango said that Nakaggwa was received in Okatho Inn Guest House on December 27, with intentions of practising prostitution from their premises. She was however killed on Friday night, leading to the recovery of her body on Saturday morning.
