The administrators of Mukono Church of Uganda Hospital have appointed Dr. Joyce Nannozi as the hospital Medical Director.
Dr. Nannozi who will take over from January 1, 2024 replaces Dr. Simon Peter Nsingo who was recently appointed the Medical Director of Mengo Hospital.
Dr. Nannozi, a passionate Gynecologist with experience in Health Care Management and Strategy has been heading Life Link Hospital.
A Born again Anglican, Dr. Nannozi is a married woman to Mr. Pius Sserugo of Ssonde in Mukono Municipality.
Mukono Church of Uganda Hospital is governed under Mukono diocese. It was established by Katharine Cook, who was the wife of Sir Albert Ruskin Cook, on September 29, 1928 mainly to handle cases related to safe mother deliveries.
In September 2012 under the reign of Bp. James William Ssebaggala as the bishop of Mukono diocese, the facility was elevated to hospital status.
