Kenya’s President Ruto, Raila Odinga Meet with President Museveni in Uganda

The President of Uganda, Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on Monday hosted Kenya’s President, William Ruto together with Raila Odinga, the leading opposition figure in Kenya. 

The trio met at President Museveni’s farm in Kisozi where they held talks in regards to the future of their two countries and the entire East African Community at large.

Their pictures baptised the social media on Monday evening leaving Ugandans in whispers.

Ugandans kept on commenting on the pictures whether it can be possible for President Museveni to also have the same visit to President Ruto in Kenya with Uganda’s leading opposition figure, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu a.k.a Bobi Wine.

President Ruto apart from sharing more than 10 pictures of the visit on his socials, he accompanied them with the following writing.

“Kenya and Uganda are committed to the deepening of the long-established diplomatic and economic ties between our two countries. This relationship includes bringing all the seven East African Community nations closer in their ultimate goal to form the East African Political Federation.

Had the pleasure of meeting President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni at his Kisozi country home in Uganda. We discussed critical issues that affect our two countries such as energy and petroleum.

Also discussed was the declared candidacy of Kenya’s former Prime Minister Raila Odinga for the Africa Union Commission chairmanship.”
